David Weigel is a political journalist. Currently, he is a National Political Reporter for Semafor.Previously, Weigel a political reporter for The Washington Post, and before that, for Bloomberg News. He was also a contributing editor for Reason magazine.Weigel's work has appeared in Slate, The Daily Beast, Time, The Guardian, The American Prospect, The American Spectator, The Washington Monthly, The American Conservative, Politico, and The Nation. He has appeared on NPR's "Fresh Air" and MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show."
