Hamilton Leithauser is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. Hamilton is the lead vocalist of the indie rock band The Walkmen. Born on April 15, 1978, in Washington, D.C., he played a pivotal role in shaping the band's distinctive sound, characterized by his powerful, emotive voice. Following The Walkmen’s hiatus in 2014, Leithauser pursued a solo career, and has albums such as Black Hours (2014) and I Had a Dream That You Were Mine (2016), a collaboration with former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij.
