Method Man, born Clifford Smith Jr. on March 2, 1971, is an acclaimed American rapper, actor, and member of the legendary hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. Known for his deep voice and charismatic flow, Method Man gained fame in the early 1990s with Wu-Tang's debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), delivering standout verses that helped define East Coast rap. As a solo artist, his 1994 album Tical produced the Grammy-winning single "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By" featuring Mary J. Blige. Expanding his career into acting, Method Man has appeared in numerous films and television series, including How High, The Wire, Luke Cage, and Power Book II: Ghost.
