Miranda Kennedy is a journalist and writer. Currently, she is Executive Producer of Vox's show "Today, Explained."Previously, Kennedy was an editor for NPR, where she edited the "Love Commandos" series for "Rough Translation" and, before that, "Morning Edition" and "Up First."Kennedy lived in New Delhi, India for five years, as a reporter covering South Asia for National Public Radio and American Public Media's Marketplace Radio. Her first book, "Sideways on a Scooter: Life and Love in India," based on this experience, was published in 2011.Kennedy received her B.A. from Trinity College Dublin and her M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction from Bennington College.
