Scott Aukerman is an American comedian, writer, actor, director, and podcast host best known as the creator and host of the acclaimed comedy podcast Comedy Bang! Bang!, which began in 2009 and helped pioneer the podcasting landscape. He also developed and hosted the IFC television adaptation of Comedy Bang! Bang!. A former writer and performer on Mr. Show with Bob and David, Aukerman co-created the web series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis, earning an Emmy Award for its special. He is the co-founder of the Earwolf podcast network, a major platform for alternative comedy audio content.
