Vanessa Bayer is an American actress, comedian, and writer best known for her work as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (2010–2017). During her time on the show, she became celebrated for her impressions, including Miley Cyrus and Rachel from Friends, as well as original characters like the awkward child actress Laura Parsons. Her comedic talent earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2017. Bayer has also appeared in films such as Trainwreck (2015), Office Christmas Party (2016), and Ibiza (2018). In 2022, she co-created and starred in the Showtime comedy series I Love That for You, inspired by her personal experience as a childhood leukemia survivor.
