Action Women is for women ready to unleash their power and take real action towards their goals!  Sharing her own experiences and expertise as a transformation coach, nutritional therapist and trainer, Anthea shares techniques and tactics that have helped her clients transform their mindset, health, and fitness.  Guests from a wide range of industries share their stories, insights, knowledge and advice on reaching their own goals. As well as providing entertainment and motivation, each episode gives you pragmatic action to take, because talk is good – but action makes things happen! ABOUT THE HOST Anthea McCourtie is a registered nutritional therapist (BSc, mBANT, CNHC), personal trainer, yoga teacher and a transformation coach, helping women to unleash their power and confidence from the inside out. After spending her teens and twenties unhappily immersed in diet culture, Anthea learnt how to switch her focus on nourishment and health. Nutritional therapy and a love for food has provided exciting opportunities, including healthy recipe creation and videos for a celebrity nutrition range published in a national newspaper. Taking up martial arts (BJJ, Muay Thai and MMA) and later climbing and pole fitness, Anthea learned how to appreciate her body for what it could do, and she carries this passion and sense of empowerment into her coaching sessions and membership group.   Hosted on Acast.
