This episode is one we have wanted to do for some time and I’m so glad it has been made possible. This rider embodies a little bit of the spirit we’re trying to hunt out at Any Given Sunday, seeking those individuals who don’t do things by halves, who are a little bit (or a lot) different to what the majority would consider the norm… We have on a veritable legend of the ultra-cycling and Audax scene, Mr Steven Abraham.

Steve first came to my attention during his first attempt at the One Year Time Trial world record. On January 1st 2015, he commenced an attempt to beat Tommy Godwin's record set in 1939. To beat the record, he had to cycle more than 75,065 miles in 365 days. That is an average of over 205 miles a day, every day, for a year.
