Intro: What’s up guys! Welcome to Anyone Can Learn Bitcoin. My name is Collin Anderson and a very simple question of Why hasn’t bitcoin died yet… led me down the bitcoin rabbit hole in January of 2021. Again, my goal with this podcast is to give the people closest to me another touchpoint in regards to bitcoin. I think we can all agree it can be easier listening to someone you know talk about bitcoin and finance because it makes it more real. Today, I have my old college roommate from freshman year, Ernesto Telles from the Bitcoin capital of Central America and in my opinion, the world. Ernesto visits El Salvador frequently but has been living in the US since 2016. He has his masters in finance and is currently working for a company down in Dallas, TX. I was really excited for this conversation because Ernesto is a really good dude and always gives his honest opinion on subjects. He isn’t a bitcoin bro –yet– but has a valuable perspective with family ties in El Salvador. For those that don’t know, El Salvador made bitcoin legal tender back in September of 2021 and that means any merchant has to accept is as a valid means of payment. 

In this episode, we talk about many things in regards to El Salvador, bitcoin, and money. And with that being said, let’s get started. But first, a word from the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Krister:
