Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, who just had their first child earlier this year are pledging to cure all diseases in their child's life time. With a $3bn investment over 10 years they hope to put the money to research instead of treatment. "We spend 50x more on treatment than we do on research of why we are sick." Mark stated when addressing the tools they hope for in the future.
