Yet as we look at these secrets, we remember our Lord who fulfilled prophecy and spoke of things kept secret from the foundation of the world. As the people surrounded him, he spoke these secrets. Secrets which he told, his disciples also heard; and to them he said these were parables. Truths hidden in story form that were secrets. To some like the disciples it was given to understand these secrets, while to others; they did not receive them.
