Challenges come in all shapes and sizes. Some are small and mere inconveniences while some are seemingly insurmountable obstacles that we get trapped in with, what appears to be, no way out. Trust me when I say I’ve experienced things that seemed too big for me to handle. Luckily, I was able to rely on good advice from trusted colleagues that allowed me to get past the mountain of doubt and helplessness.
In this podcast I share a model that has been adopted from the works of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, a noted Swedish-American psychologist. The model that I present in today’s show is the SARAH model of coping with and moving forward difficult times in life.
The acronym is:
S: Shock
A: Anger
R: Resentment
A: Acceptance
H: Help
I hope you enjoy today’s show and share it with someone you know that may be struggling with something in their life and could benefit.
Here’s a link to the information that I share about the book On Death and Dying and the Five Stages of Grief.
