The Japan Studies Program has been the beneficiary of three generous grants in from the Tateuchi Foundation. These significant grants provided outreach not otherwise possible through these three programs. The lectures stem from Atsuhiko and Ina Goodwin Tateuchi who established a foundation to promote and improve international understanding, knowledge, and the equality of relations between Japan and the U.S.
