Bruce Katzman is an Actor, Teacher, and Director that has performed in over 100 plays, appearing onstage with such stars as Denzel Washington, Christopher Walken, Martin Sheen to name a few, and playing on Broadway, Off-Broadway, off-off-Broadway, and in regional theaters.

He has been cast in a variety of Film and TV appearances like The Mindy Project, Agent Carter, Law & Order, Californication, Blackish, among many others, and has worked with such directors as Ridley Scott, Rob Reiner, and Ava DuVernay.

A graduate of the prestigious Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Acting, Bruce has been training actors for over 30 years, teaching at such institutions as Yale School of Drama, Princeton, University of Scranton, The Actors Center of New York, The College of William and Mary, the British-American Drama Academy, the Stella Adler Studio (NYC) and the Stella Adler Academy (Los Angeles). Also, he has conducted workshops on the plays of Chekhov internationally, in Denmark, Buenos Aires, and Oxford, England.

Currently, he’s the Director of Secrets of Chekhov, an online platform where he instructs acting masterclasses to professional actors who’d like to further their craft in the fascinating world of the plays of Anton Chekhov.
