I take you on my journey of self discovery. Trying to break the stigma of Mental Disabilities that haunt those that have been told far to long that they are "fine" and to try and help people realize that they, with all of the social challenges and anxieties are just as "normal" as the next person. The question is what makes us tick and how can we use it to our advantage? I am an Air Force Veteran who was Discharged under Honorable conditions for "patterns of disciplinary misconduct" only to have been found out 30 years later that I actually suffered from of PTSD, Anxiety and Depression which had all gone undiagnosed during my military career. After years of self medication, destructive behaviors and several attempted suicides, I began receiving therapy and counseling for my mental disorders and am working on living a more productive and for filling life with my current wife and children. It's a long road that would not have begun had it not been for someone pushing me to sit down in the Therapist chair and ask for help.
