An Indo-American chemical engineer was all set to live her ‘American dream’ by taking up a great job opportunity at a reputed oil and gas company. But, one thought changed everything!  Rasika Shekar, our gracious guest at the weekly Cracking the Code series with Diliniwaz Khan, recalled how a job opportunity became a threat to her music and led her to finally understand her passion and love for music.

Leaving everything behind, she committed herself full-time to make her voice heard, quite literally, leading her to explore different genres of music, from Ghazals to Sufi, and landing her big breaks in notable Bollywood songs.
