So I'm not the biggest true crime fan, but I know a quality true crime podcast when I see one. The main quality isn't just in the host's presentation style but in the fact that she handles the story so respectfully. This isn't sensationalized or scandalized. However, because the parameters that make a 'Dr. Death' possible are so relevant to us, it was important to get the word out. That doesn't change that there are real victims and suffering involved.

Season 1 is completely deserving of 5 stars. Maybe it is the lack of novelty, but the second season doesn't hit quite as hard.But that first season...I suggest it to people that I know have never even listened to a podcast because this story and the storytelling is so perfect. Easily one of the best podcasts I've ever heard.

Intriguing and heartbreaking at the same time

this podcast was well-done. a testament to that is how painful it was to listen to - all those stories and all those people intertwined with one crazy guy, though calling him crazy takes away the severity of his actions.

This podcast fills in a lot of details that the news reporting missed. The subject was fascinating. I could have used a stronger structure, but it was a good podcast. Laura Bell is an excellent host.
