The FDA and TFP Nutrition have recalled HEB Texas Pets Indoor Complete Dry Cat Food manufactured on 11/13/2022.  This product has salmonella contamination.  It causes a gastrointestinal infection in the cats that may be severe but in some cases quite mild.  The infected cats may pass the salmonella to other animals or to humans who may develop gastroenteritis or more severe bacterial sepsis.  The product was sold in Texas at HEB retail stores.  Do not feed this product to your cat and wear gloves when handling this product with careful handwashing afterward.  If you bought this product, contact TFP Nutrition by phone at 1-800-560-9197 or via tfpnutrition.com/recall to obtain a refund or a replacement product.
