Hinemoa Elder is a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to psychiatry, an author, former TV presenter and mother to Mille Elder.

Hinemoa is a child & neuropsychiatrist, who studied children with traumatic brain injuries and has developed tools for specific Maori.
