This podcast will change the way you think about everything in life.
Very interesting content, and I listen to nearly every episode. However, I tend to feel empty by the end of each episode with no real conclusion. Keep them coming!
Well structured programmes picking up or topics that are current but looking at them from a different perspective. Stephen was a journalist and the shows are constructed like an article or investigation.
Freakonomics offers a stream of new perspectives that will upend your thinking on seemingly unrelated topics. This is a great show for curious, open, expanding minds.
Consistently interesting and entertaining content.

Very cool! Each episode brings something new to the table!
An engaging and thought-provoking way to learn and challenge your pre-conceived notions.
Late to the party here but I've absolutely been loving this podcast. Very informative with just the right amount of wit and humor to keep you engaged.
Absolutely great!
Used to be an amazing podcast, but recent (the last year or so) have really gone downhill. I would recommend listening to their back catalog rather than the new episodes.
Has both good and bad episodes. Steven Dubner seems to veer towards an economics solution to lots of problems but does not seem to be aware of complex add on effects. He does not seem to understand that items which work at micro levels, breakdown at macro levels. I would suggest listening to the first 5 minutes of each episode and determining if it is interesting to you.
Listened to many podcasts on Sam bankman fried - interview with Michael Lewis clearly the best
It had been going downhill for a while, but I unsubscribed due to a couple of disgraceful, utterly unjournalistic fawning episodes that were simply a platform for Charles Koch to spew his billionaire “socialism” with exactly no pushback to his moronic, utterly-dumb ideas. It was the last straw for a podcast fast running out of steam and ideas.
Simply the most informative Podcast around. Dubner's ability to walk the line between simplicity and complexity makes 60 minutes (or 45 if you listen at 1.5 speed) fly by. Best of the best!
Clearly biased toward Jews, and supports Israeli agression.
I have not majored in economy in any of my highschool or college years. This podcast kinda makes me regret that.
Interesting but americacentric
Amazing at its best but wildly inconsistent
A very good way to learn about a enormous variety of subjects, with humour.
Simply the best there is, the gold standard of podcasts for me.
