Hosts Jamie Johansen and Joanna Wilkinson own Honey Creek Media, where they work in the world of storytelling…marketing with a purpose. Since they moved to Lebanon, Missouri they have felt a calling to do more with our community. That passion led to them recently purchasing a building in Downtown Lebanon they named, The Hive by Honey Creek. Hence the name of our podcast, From The Hive. The Hive by Honey Creek will be a space for makers to make, minds to grow, ideas to form, and networking to thrive. 2020 has opened the eyes of many to see how workspaces can become non-traditional and pushed others to step out of their comfort zones and pursue a life change or explore a new passion. As we move deeper into 2021 the desire to celebrate and gather is only growing. As entrepreneurs in a rural community, they are passionate about opening their doors and creating a home, a place for people to gather, a space to cultivate ideas and secure dreams, a site to celebrate, a destination. That is what we want this podcast to be.
