This week we’re coming to you live from a panel discussion at Dallas Startup Week. The panel, titled Indie Game Studio Founders, features myself and Amir Rajan along with moderators Chirag Gupta and Courtney Garza.

In this episode, Amir and I discuss how we got started coding, our influences, plans for the future, and a lot more. I’m excited for you all to hear from Amir. He is the creator of the iOS version of A Dark Room which hit number 1 in the app store. The game was originally created by Michael Townsend, and Amir reached out to him during a work subaticle asking if he’d be interested in having A Dark Room enhananced and ported to iOS. Amir covers the details of their deal in the talk which you’ll hear in a bit. I’ve learned a lot from him over many coffees these past 3 or 4 years, and I’m glad to be bringing some of that to you today.
