GatewayGIS STAR Conversations is a podcast series developed  “by and for young people”. Guests provide information to encourage early preparation by youth and their families interested in careers and entrepreneurship focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). 

Having STAR—an acronym in the podcast title—identifies an emphasis on the following: S = Science, T = Technology,
A = Arts, and  R = Research. 

By focusing on the “Future of Work Happening Now”, young people and their families are urged to understand how important it is to prepare early for a career and business ownership in STEAM fields.
