Hello everyone, with an open heart I welcome you all to Good Vibes Sunday. My name is Astrid Reifer, an entrepreneur from California. My co-host and husband, Adam Reifer, is a former professional baseball player of nine years. After facing the death of a loved one, hitting rock bottom financially and building ourselves back up, we call this part of our lives the reset button, I decided to start this show. I really hope that you visit this podcast each week where you will find new content every Sunday. I believe that happiness is a choice we make each day, that each of us are responsible for who we choose to show up as daily. We can choose to be victims of our circumstances or we can choose to rise above them to find a lesson in every experience. I also believe that we don’t attract goodness into our lives, we radiate it, and it therefore it shows up. With this in mind, I wanted to create a place where you could come and fuel up with perspective, knowledge, positivity, gratitude and most of all love. As an interior designer, I feel like our job is to translate our client’s vision; however the the real designing begins after we leave our clients with a space that’s been laid out for them to begin building on. As a homeowner, you are the true designers of your home, and we the professionals are just here to lay the foundation of what could be the most beautiful expression of your stories. Really, what turns houses into homes are the memories we create, the words we speak, the thoughts we think, the love we share, the interactions we have, the gatherings we hold, and how well we live our lives for ourselves and for those we love. I always say that we are contagious to those around us, that we must fill ourselves up with good vibes everyday so we can spread that into our homes. So I created a place where I can be contagious to you, where I make myself completely vulnerable, where I share ideas of loving yourself so F*cking much so that you have more of it to share with those who matter. I also probe at ideas of determination, emotional intelligence, marriage, family, and so much more. Honestly, I don’t pretend to have all the answers or claim to have it all together. I don't aim to live a trial free life, instead I am here to speak up about the challenges I have faced that have activated latent potential. Along with my own experiences, I will share other's stories that touch the heart, that reinforce the principles I live by, and who inspire me to live a more purposeful life. My intention for every guest is to provoke culture changing, mindset driven and vulnerable conversations. Don't worry I also throw in some designer tips and fun home stuff into the mix. Once again, thank you for joining me on this journey of feeding our souls and our homes with good vibes.
