We've all heard it enough times to know that we're supposed to "meditate" whenever we become aware, but focusing on your breathing isn't always as easy as it sounds. Too often we feel as though we're doing it wrong, overwhelmed with too much too think about, or maybe we even find it boring or just too difficult. 

The idea behind meditation is simple; relief from thought. I mean, it makes sense right, if you can clear you're thoughts you make room for newer, fresher even more positive thoughts to appear and grow. But if you find meditation a little bit tricky, rather than giving up on the idea altogether, there are some really great ways we can cultivate an awareness and increasing presence in our everyday lives.
