FROM ADDICTIONS AND YEARS OF THERAPY TO PEACE OF MIND - a conversation with psychotherapist and transformative coach Jason Shiers Part 1

I have started a series of conversations with people from all walks of life who talk about the impact of the Inside-Out understanding/3 Principles in their lives by sharing their BEFORE (what were they struggling with and what did they do to find help) and AFTER (why the Inside-Out was such a game-changer to them and how it impacted their lives)" stories.

In this episode, I'm speaking to psychotherapist and transformative coach Jason Shiers, who spent years training to become a therapist only to leave it all behind after he came across the Inside-Out understanding/3 Principles. He also spent seven years in therapy in an attempt to solve his problems, he then believed stemmed from his childhood trauma - losing his dad in an accident at the age of 5.

We talk about:

  • his addictions (food, drugs, gambling, relationships to name a few)
  • his turbulent life (he ended up in prison and was homeless)
  • years he spent in therapy and why it wasn't helpful
  • years of searching for peace of mind and what it looked like
  • the impact of the Inside-Out understanding and why he decided to quit therapy

You can listen to his podcast "Misunderstandings of The Mind" on iTunes and other platforms.

Jason is passionate about working with people with all kinds of addictions. To find out more about him and his work visit
