We talk with Diane Wortz, Food Rescue Emerging Streams Developer at Second Harvest Heartland, and Nicola Dixon, Executive Director of the General Mills Foundation, about an app technology called MealConnect. MealConnect enables food banks and food shelves to better rescue prepared foods. Then we sit down with Brad McNamara, CEO and Founder of Freight Farms. Freight Farms is a hydroponic nursery, housed in repurposed shipping containers.
