Could listen to David Brooks takedowns every day. This was so satisfying that I went in search of OTHER podcasts, lo and behold: The Professional Left did an ENTIRE 6-PART MINI SERIES called "No Fair Remembering Stuff" chronicling reasons why David Brooks is a TOAD.

While I did get something from his life advice books, they were dreck, too. Skipped this one suspecting exactly what the hosts cited. Unsupported marketing biases. It seems like he *wants* a better society, but that's not enough to support his opinion pieces and purported expertise. I would invite him to a party and enjoy his chatter, but not take it as factual. I still follow, watch, and read Brooks, but know he is fluff.
