We were  joined by the wonderful Meg, their recent MLitt dissertation explored the so-called Alexander sarcophagus and discussed it’s potential occupant, his existence in the extant literary tradition, and the association of gardeners with kingship in Persian ideas of royalty.

Meg will be presenting at the Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient History next week.
