Internet2 has become one of the nation’s premier educational pipelines allowing K-20 students to view an open heart surgery, conduct musical performances, and control an electron microscope from a remote location.Kathy Kraemer, TIES education technology consultant, explains how K-20 classroom education can be enhanced using cutting-edge software applications, hardware, Internet services and professional development designed by educators for education.
