The course introduces basic concepts and approaches applied in the field of sustainable consumption and production, with an emphasis on the preventative strategies to reduce environmental impact. Core course topics include eco-efficiency, cleaner product strategies, cleaner production principles and related policy. Further, drivers and barriers are discussed in the context of implementation of eco-efficiency.
