Like butterflies have four life stages, the egg, the larva (caterpillar), the pupa (chrysalis), and the adult butterfly. Each of the four stages are very unique to individual species of butterflies. Similarly what we acquire in the physical world doesn't define nature of the soul. At all life stages from infant to old age through the aging process, life shows us sequence of both good and bad events. There can be Infinite possibilities leading to Infinite perceptions; paying attention and having the awareness of what happens outside and within us eventually leads to a process of transformation. Initiation of the process is the first step in metamorphosis and the key to progressive stages.
