Kids are the future, they have a say regardless their age. 
It’s a practice to remind them and keep them reminded they have a voice & to not be afraid to use it. 
Giving them opportunities to have choices, from my experience, has given my son the ability to individualize himself & be comfortable with it. & to know what he wants & to say what he wants & so I can understand & learn to know who this boy is & what he wants. 
because it is not all about me anymore it is not all about us anymore in fact it’s not about any of us. 
We are all a small part on a much larger work of art. 

This is Gods world & His creation, we all play a role, small & big & as parents & whatever else you know yourself as, we have a duty to tend to all like our Father in Heaven ????✨
