Incredibly grateful to have been chosen to present the "Building Your MVP" module of City University of Hong Kong's HK Tech 300, a large-scale flagship innovation and entrepreneurship program organized for aspiring entrepreneurs among CityU students, alumni, research staff, and others to launch start-ups and ignite their entrepreneurship journey.
Some important points about MVPs (Minimum Viable Products)
-Talk to your users before you build your MVP
-Identify assumptions you need your MVP to test - build just enough to test those assumptions, disregard everything else
-Launch quickly and inexpensively
-Get initial customers, if possible before you even build!
-Iterate quickly and with scope constrained improvements
What an inspiring batch of founders, from cutting-edge fields like Nanotechnology Manufacturing, AI, BioTech and many more.
Big thanks to Nick Zieber and Tiffany Tse from Brinc and Victor CY LAU from CityU for putting this all together.
