Caitlin Benson is an embroidery artist living in New West, BC

Her business, Cinder and Honey was born after experimenting with a knit based Etsy shop that never quite took off.

The reason was partly because her heart wasn't in knitting.

As soon as she discovered embroidery, a world of opportunity opened up and she found a voice that has resonated with a community of over 130k on Instagram.

But Caitlin doesn't go it alone. She works closely with her husband in all aspects of her business.
