From The Podcast

Former mental health professional and survivor of domestic violence and abuse. My goal is to bring awareness, give voices to others, and reach those who need help. I also hope to provide useful tools in dealing with trauma and grief. I have suffered many close losses in my life, the two closest being my brother in a car accident in 1997, and my father to cancer in 2015. I have worked with just about every population. Case management for severely emotionally disturbed children in Charleston, SC., an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team clinician in Chicago, IL., working with adults diagnosed with persistent and severe mental illness, and on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit in Atlanta, GA.  My goal here is to help a broader group of individuals with various needs.
