You don't see crosses in Messianic Jewish synagogues. It's fair to say that Messianic Judaism has an awkward relationship with the cross. Does that mean we diminish the importance of it? This teaching recontextualizes the significance of the cross in Jewish space in light of the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.
