How do you start your emails?
Is it “Dear Victoria, I am writing to you today to ask if you can help me with…”
Or is it: “Hey Victoria, I like what you said about personality and I need your help!”
Because if it’s the first - that’s fine. If you want to attract formal and corporate clients. You should definitely use formal language.
If you’re the kind of person who likes work that way, then you should absolutely use that language.
Buuuuuuuuut…
If you’re more playful with your work, and like things a bit more relaxed then you’re going to attract more clients like you with the second option.
You see, the more you write ‘like you’ the more you’ll attract clients ‘like you’.
Let's explore this in more detail on today's show.
