And to help, I’ve been chatting to some awesome More-Than-VAs to share their journeys from VA and beyond with you. 

My first conversation is with Charlotte Lester. Charlotte has gone from VA-freelancer to CEO of her own VA and OBM agency in a few short years.

Charlotte started her VA business in 2017 so she could see more of her family. Working in the corporate world meant long hours and little time with her young daughter by the time the working day was over and it was time to do the nursery pick-up.

We had known each other for a few years through the VA circles. In fact, I jumped on a call with her in early 2019 to put our heads together and talk about the direction of her business.

More recently, I needed advice and Charlotte was more than happy to help me. It’s the Law of Reciprocity in action – do good for someone, and that someone will help you in return when you need it.

I was keen to pick Charlotte’s brain on her career so far and how she transitioned away from the VA role for greater profits and progression.
