Today's episode comes as promised: I'm talking about something I'm pretty passionate about in the online service provider industry —how some take advantage of moms who want to start their online businesses. 

There are some AMAZING and FANTASTIC programs out there to help moms start their businesses and get off the ground. I know because I've been part of them when I started as a virtual assistant (eventually becoming a social media manager.)

But some programs make it sound almost TOO easy, and it's driving me a bit crazy.

I share my honest opinions and why it's crucial to be discerning when choosing a course or mentor for your business.

I get a little "mama bear" about it 🥴

Listen, moms have SO MUCH on their plate and desperately need an option that works. But often, they find themselves paying a lot of money, learning how to get started, but with no guidance on how to land their first client.

So it feels like it doesn't work.

Or, they received miss leading information on how "fast" they can start making money.
 
It is not a get-rich-fast process.

In the end, I give you some practical tips on what to look for when joining a course or mentor program, and if you have some recommendations, be sure to share them!

Starting your own business and succeeding as an online service provider is possible. It may be a journey with its ups and downs, but you can make it happen with the proper guidance and support. Just be wary of some of the marketing tactics, ok?
