An Empire State of Mind with Empress Patta. Were you having trouble answering life's great questions that all 20 somethings who just finished school or started a new job, switched careers, or any other kind of impactful decision? And while you were trying to figure it all out, were your plans thrown even further into chaos by the unprecedented times caused by COVID-19? If you're someone with an idea who wants to start your own business, a small business owner, or an entrepreneur trying to fulfill your dreams and get your projects off the ground during these stressful, unprecedented times; or if you simply haven’t stopped feeling overwhelmed in what feels like a long time; do not worry, you are not alone!In this podcast Patta shares the beginnings of her empire-building, as well as shares all the ways she had to get creative in order to overcome her own hardships caused by the pandemic. After she first moved to the United States from Thailand at age 19 for schooling, she found herself facing taking a leap of faith and forging her own new path that would eventually be the foundation of her own unique and thriving empire. Having forged so much success so early in her life, while at the same time balancing motherhood and being a role model to her four young children, being a business owner, a community member, a wife, and a boss, she wanted to share some of her business principles that helped her get to where she is now. Her desire is to show others that through the perfect combination of strong leadership, perseverance, vision, dedication, commitment, and a little bit of belief in herself and her vision, her story shows that what you need to begin building an empire of your own, are things you already possess, no matter what stage of development your business plan is in.
