My name is Maggie McGrath, and I'm a Traveling Registered Nurse. There is no doubt that Nursing is my calling. I’ve won a few awards, I score “The Nurse” personality on every personality test, and I’ve left every job with glowing reviews. I put everything I have into this career and I’m proud of the Nurse I’ve become over the last 5 years. But I’m burned out. Every day I consider doing something else. I’ve spent the last 2 years traveling to different cities every 3 months in search of the perfect job, and I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned that I’m not alone in my stress, and that talking out stress is soup for the Nurse's soul. Using my friends that I’ve made along the way, I'm creating this podcast to help nurses like me remember why they love this profession and why they decided to become nurses in the first place. Lets create something that will leave the Nursing profession better than when we entered it. Lets shine the Penlight on Nurses and Nursing to improve our own health.
