This episode of NXT kicked off with a bang. Samoa Joe issued a rematch to Shinsuke Nakamura when he's healthy. He then attacked Nakamura and sent him out on a stretcher. Liv Morgan called out NXT Women's Champion Asuka. Authors of Pain destroyed two more jobbers. Hideo Itami and Drew Gulak had a fight. The main event was No Way Jose against Bobby Roode.
