Since before Christmas the Mid North Coast of New South Wales on the East Coast of Australia has been experiencing the joys of a "La Nina" event where the rainfall is typically above average.
Well, above average is a bit of an understatement at the moment as most of this area is in the middle of a fairly serious flood.
We have road closures, land slips, flooded shops and houses as well as streets and parks under water.
This certainly is a country of "droughts and flooding rains".
But to keep our spirits afloat let's all enjoy some great Progressive Rock Music.
Offerings from artists and albums will include:
Distant Brother - "Die This Way"
Dead Letter Circus - "The Endless Mile"
Infinitome - "Voyage Home"
Pentesilia - "Pentesilia Road"
Evergrey - "Escape of the Phoenix"
Kerr's Pink - "Presence of Light"
Farpoint - "From Dreaming to Dreaming"
Frozen Night - "Thorn of the Frozen Star"
White Willow - "Terminal Twilight"
And my featured album this week:
Arc of Life - "Arc of Life"
