In Genesis, we see Adam and Eve eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the act that we might call the Fall. So- could this whole thing have been avoided by a simple decision by God to not put this tree in the garden? Or, even with the tree there, did Adam and Eve understand right and wrong enough to be held responsible?
