If you are an employee, convincing your employer to give you autonomy might not be the best idea. So, how do you deal with it? Having autonomy doesn’t mean that someone has to offer it to you. You might not have control over what you do, but you always have control over how you do it. That is what matters. The way you do things... is what takes most of your time and that is something that is always in your control.

If you can make it interesting and something... that helps you learn and evolve as an individual, that is more than enough.
