Dr Patricia Houston, Vice Dean, Medical Education at the University of Toronto has led change management projects and teams in Canada's healthcare system for decades. She has served as president of the Canadian Anesthesiologists' Society and Vice President at St Micheal's Hospital.

Yet, Dr Houston's ambition as a young person was to be a family doctor in a small town. In this interview, we talk about her style of leadership and the story of how she came to lead one of the best medical schools in the world.
