Are you constantly thinking about food? Are you eating your meals while thinking about your next snack? Do you always want food that you see? If you're suffering from an eating disorder, chances are: you do. And if you do, you may think you're addicted to food. In reality, however, food deprivation, even if it is 'only' mental food deprivation, can cause all of these symptoms. You're not addicted: you're deprived. In this week's episode we discuss how this constant thinking about food can occur as a result of deprivation, and how recovery and allowing yourself all food won't make this worse but will actually help.
