Elena Travaini is an Italian dancer who launched the ‘Blindly Dancing,’ movement in 2013, a powerful ‘dancing in the dark’ experience that has caught the imagination and interest of thousands of international followers.

Elena’s personal story is nothing short of miraculous.

Elena was born with a rare retina cancer, known as ‘bilateral Retinoblastoma,’ a type of cancer that can be deadly if not arrested.

Despite all the odds she has developed a great passion for dancing who has
brought abut the Blindly Dancing project.

The ‘Blindly Dancing’ project encourages participants to dance with blindfolds on so that they can be in touch with their own emotional, introspective, and sensorial feelings.
