I think they get along because they're different types of assholes. Cross is much more 'in your face'. Cross takes a swipe at Pete Holmes. Which kind of makes sense because Pete is a nice guy, and not deeply cynical. But I like Pete, so fuck you Cross. Marc takes a swipe at Birbiglia, which is an almost identical situation.

I truly love a conversation that follows no specific linear train of thought but can start about the 2004 Red Sox and minutes later has become an in-depth look at the Iran/Contra hearings (with a detour about the best breakfast tacos in Austin).
